A native of Neosho, Missouri, Jeff Snow is in his 6th year as the Spirit Coordinator at Iowa Western after 2 years as the head coach at Coffeyville Community College and 3 yrs as the student coach at Pittsburg State University. Jeff sucessfully lead both previous institutions to Top 5 finishes at the Universal Cheerleaders AssociationÂ Collegiate Cheerleading Championship. Jeff, is also a head instructor for UCA where he instructs thousands of cheerleaders coast to coast. In his spare time he has choreographed multiple State and National Championship routines in several states though the Mid-West. As a judge, Jeff works at both the regional and national level judging competitions across the nation, including the UCA High School Championship and UCA All-Star Nationals. As an athlete Snow was a member and captain at Pittsburg State University 2000-05 winning the UCA Collegiate National Championship in 2001 and placing Top 5 all of the other years. Jeff received the teams "Gorilla Award" in 2001-5, which was given to the individual that was a role model for PSU cheerleading. Jeff is proud of his role in the progression of the Reiver Spirit Squads, and also enjoys the opportunity to support Reiver athletics.Competition team placements under the direction of Coach Snow:

Kayla Snow, originally from Omaha, NE is in her fourth year helping as an assistant coach to the Reiver Cheerleading squad. Kayla comes to the team with over 15 years of cheerleading experience. She participated as a cheerleader for two years at the all star level, and was a 4-year member of the Millard West High School cheerleading squad, where she won a UCA High School National Championship in 2002. In college Kayla went on to cheer at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO where her team finished top 5 in the Division I Coed all 3 years that she competed. Kayla also worked for Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) as a summer camp instructor and regional competition judge for 4 years, and eventually went on to work in the UCA corporate office in Memphis, TN for several years before moving back to the Omaha area where she now resides. Kayla is currently working at a Marketing agency in Omaha, and recently graduated with her Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing from the University of Nebraska. She loves being the "team mom" and contributing to both the athletic and academic success of the Iowa Western Spirit Squad.
Raised in Clarinda, Iowa, Shelby is a 2nd-generation alumni of Iowa Western. Shelby cheered under the direction of Jeff on the Small Coed cheerleading team from 2010-2012 and after graduating with her Associate's Degree in Athletic Training from Iowa Western she went on to complete her Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations at Northwest Missouri State University. Shelby currently works full time in Event Management and is a huge help to Jeff with recruiting and managing the responsibilities of the Spirit Squads. Shelby was extremely dependable as a team member, and we are thrilled to have her back on campus in a coaching capacity.
This is Chaz's third season helping out with the Reiver Cheer team. Chaz comes to us from Northwest Missouri State University where he won 3 National Championships in Division II coed at UCA College Nationals. Originally from Clarksdale, Missouri Chaz works with the team not only on elite stunts and collegiate-level skills, but also in the classroom as well. Chaz recently graduated with his Masters in Biology from NWMSU and is currently in Physical Therapy school at the University of Kansas. Chaz brings a strong work ethic and energy to the team and it has been great having him around to help out!
