Iowa Western Reivers

New Reiver, Fleckenstein, adds versatility to 2017 roster

Our newest addition to the 2017 Reiver Squad is Elizabeth Fleckenstein from Dubuque, IA. Elizabeth will be joining the program as a defensive specialist/outside hitter. Before transferring to Dubuque-Walhert high school, Elizabeth played for Dubuque-Hempstead, where she lettered two years and helped her team earn a spot in the semi -finalist round in the 2015 Iowa High School State Tournament in the 5A division.  During her senior season at Walhert Catholic High School, Elizabeth was a major factor in helping her team win the Iowa High School State Tournament Championship in the 4A class.

In addition to her success on the court, Elizabeth also knows how to keep it balanced between volleyball and academics, as she was named to the All- Academic team in 2016. Aside from high school ball,  Fleckenstein has been part of very competitive club teams. She was invited to play for the Iowa High Performance International Team in 2015, and she has also played for Adrenaline Volleyball Academy (2016).

Elizabeth is planning to major in Business Administration. She is the proud daughter of Joe and Karen Fleckenstein. Please welcome Elizabeth to the Reiver Family!
