Ben Greer of Rainier, Oregon enters his 2nd season as Head Coach of the Reivers Softball program and first full year in Council Bluffs.
Coach Greer came to Iowa Western from McCook Community College where he led the Lady Indians to 2 straight NCCAC Championships and set back-to-back school records in wins. In 2015, his McCook squad was ranked nationally for the first time in school history and advanced to the Region IX Championship Series. In 3 seasons with McCook, Greer led the programs' turnaround from alsoran to conference champion.

Coach Greer's squads were ranked in the Top 25 in the country in 26 offensive categories, including runs, homeruns, triples, and doubles. For their success on the field the Lady Indians received numerous awards, including:

In the classroom Greer's teams were even more successful. They had 30 Academic All-Region Award winners, 5 NJCAA Academic All-American Award winners, 10 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Award winners, and finished in the Top 20 in the country in Team GPA every single season.

Before taking over the softball program at MCC, Greer spent four seasons as the Lead Assistant Coach at Eastern Oregon University. As an Assistant at EOU, Greer held many responsibilities, with his primary duties being the team's hitting coach. In his first two seasons as hitting coach, the Mountaineers set back- to-back school records in homeruns. Also during his time at Eastern Oregon, Greer coached seven First-Team All-Conference Players and contributed to helping the 2008 team achieve the National Team Scholar award for their GPA.
Greer received a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics at Eastern Oregon University and his Master of Science in Sports Management: Intercollegiate Athletic Administration from California University of Pennsylvania. He and wife, Nyssa were married in the summer of 2016 and are happy to call Council Bluffs home!
Aubrey Voboril returns to the Reivers after finishing her collegiate career at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa where she led the Mustangs to the NAIA World Series. During her Senior campaign, Voboril posted an individual record of 21-3 with 4 saves in 172.1 innings including 2 perfect games. For her efforts, Coach Voboril was named to the All-American Honorable Mention Team and was also tabbed as the Great Plains Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year!
Coach Voboril played her Freshman and Sophomore seasons with Iowa Western, finishing 33-10 with 266 strikeouts; earning All-American and Academic All-American honors along the way while taking the Reivers to a NJCAA World Series appearance.
Aubrey is from nearby Wahoo, Nebraska. With the Reivers, she'll work primarily with the Reiver pitching staff while assisting Coach Greer in day to day managment of the the team, equipment and facilities at the Reiver Sports Complex.
