Reivers finish 10th at UNK Fall Invitational

The Reivers fired rounds of 299 and 302 to finish 10th at the UNK Fall Invitational held at Awarii Dunes Golf Course in Kearney, Nebraska. Sophomore Dale Crothers led the way with rounds of 71 and 75 to earn a 10th place finish individually. Freshman AJ Nolin carded a first round 77 and followed it up with a 70 in the 2nd round to finish 14th overall. His round of 70 was the low score for the final round.

The story of the event was the cold and windy conditions that caused brutally slow play. The goal was to get 36 holes played on day 1, then return the next morning to finish the final 18 holes. As darkness closed on day 1 the 2nd round was not finished with some groups still having to play 7 holes. When the teams returned in the morning the tournament committee decided that there was not enough time to finish round 2 and complete round 3, thus the decision to conclude play after the completion of the 2nd round.

Brody Boston carded rounds of 74 and 79 to finish 49th individually. Dominic Schnepf shot 77 and 78 to finish 61st and Ben Hadden shot 79 and 80 to finish 82nd.

The Reivers are back in action again at the Midland Matches on September 24th at Oakland Country Club in Oakland, Nebraska.
