Volleyball Adds Dynamic Setter from Hawaii

Hina Pua’a is the newest addition to the Reivers 2017 Volleyball roster. The 5’8 setter out of Honolulu, Hawaii is currently a senior at volleyball powerhouse, Punahou High school.  She lettered three years with the Buffanblu, and has contributed to the team’s third place finish in the state this year. Hina’s work ethic has also helped her earn an extensive amount of awards, including being named team captain, a Most Improved Player award , All-state honors and Team MVP twice.  Aside from high school play, Hina is competing her last club season with Rainbows Volleyball Club (RVCH). At the highest level of club ball, her team is currently second in the state and won the Power League Championship.


Hina is the daughter of Kaleialoha Cadinha-Pua'a and Ricky Pua'a.  She’s also the sister of current Reiver Libero, Emi Pua’a.  In her spare time, she plays beach volleyball with Outrigger Canoe Club. She also enjoys reading and hanging out with her family. She is undecided on a major. Please welcome Hina to the Reiver Family!
