Iowa Western team finished in 13th place out of 19 teams. The field was very competitive with 4 other highly ranked Junior Colleges. "This was a good tournament for us. We needed to see these other Junior Colleges and see how we stack up with them entering the post season. We were only able to bring 4 girls with us and 3 of them were Freshman. To add even more pressure on them, they performed well," assistant coach Robinson.
The Women will now move into their Post Season play. They will head to Des Moines, IA on April 19th to play their first 2 rounds of the Region XI tournament.
