Reivers Add Transfer to the 2020 Roster

Emily Knight, a six foot transfer from Ridgewater College has joined the Reivers for the second semester.  While at Ridgewater College, she played both the setter and middle blocker positions, seeing action in 23 matches during her freshman campaign.  Knight, posted 99 kills, 604 assists, and 40 blocks during the season.

Emily attended Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa High School in Brooten, MN. As a Jaguar, she was a three-year letter winner and an accomplished volleyball player in the state of Minnesota, helping her team to the Class A Final Four in 2018.  Knight was also named to the All-Area 2nd team an honorable mention member of the Central Minnesota Conference, All-Area Academic and All-State Academic.  She finished her high school career 4th overall for most blocks at BBE High School.

In addition, she also played for BBE Blaze JO Club from 2011-2018 and for the Northern Stars in 2019. Emily also competed in track and field in the high jump.

The daughter of Brian and Cary Knight, Emily has two siblings, Taylor (21) and Allisa (17).  Her plan is to become a Biomedical Engineer after her volleyball career has finished.
