Reiver Cheerleaders Get The Crowd Going with High-Energy Homecoming Performance
The stands were packed, the school spirit was high, and the energy off the charts. Iowa Western Community College celebrated its annual Homecoming game. But it wasn't just the football team making waves, the Cheerleading Team delivered a standout performance that left the crowd screaming with pride. Homecoming is about bringing everyone together.
Taking the field during halftime, the Reiver Cheerleaders performed a great routine filled with powerful stunts and synchronized tumbling. The performance was a celebration of athleticism, school pride, and countless hours of hard work put in by the squad leading up to Homecoming Week.
From the opening backtuck, to the team dance at the end, the team showcased its depth of talent and unity. With a mix of returning cheerleaders and new team members, the Reivers demonstrated why they're a driving force behind the college's spirit program. Their performance included a great variety of stunts, baskets and pyramids, keeping the crowd engaged and energized throughout.
Beyond halftime, the cheerleaders were on the sidelines throughout the game, leading chants and supporting the football team with unwavering school spirit. Their presence was a constant source of motivation for players and a key element to helping lead the football team to 48-17 win over Iowa Central.
For many of the cheerleaders, Homecoming represents more than just a performance, it's a culmination of weeks of practice and a chance to represent their college in front of the community.
As the season continues, the IWCC Cheerleading Team remains committed to bringing their best to every game and event, continuing to build a culture of excellence and spirit across campus.
