Road to College Nationals 2026

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -  Building off the 2025 season, the Reiver cheer team is looking confident and prepared going into the week of competition. The Reivers are headed to the UCA Collegiate National Championships in Orlando, Florida, next week to compete in four divisions, two of which will be for the very first time in program history.

The cheer team has been preparing for months to compete in Open Coed, Open Small Coed, Open All-Girl, & the Open Coed Gameday division. They are looking more ready than ever to take the stage.

Open Coed will be battling it out once again for the title against Shelton State and Jones Community College, while Small Coed is looking to remain on top in their division of 15 opponents.

All-Girl will be representing Iowa Western in this division for the first time, going up against 17 opponents, while our Coed Gameday will also be representing in a new division alongside Rocky the Reiver for the first time in program history. Coed gameday has 5 opponents in their division.

Amongst our 3 traditional routines, we are made up of 31 first years, 19 second years, and 10 3rd years. You can keep up to date with Reiver cheer over the competition weekend via Varsity TV. You won't want to miss the action. It's going to be REIVER MADNESS.
