Bio

HIGH SCHOOL: Amadou Sylla comes to Council Bluffs from Mali, West Africa; following former Reivers Daouda Soumaoro (Western Kentucky) and Oumar Barry (San Jose State) who successfully moved on from Iowa Western's program to secure NCAA D1 scholarships. Sylla perhaps can boast to have played on the best high school team of any current Reiver, as his Our Savior Lutheran Eagles finished the 2017-18 campaign at 35-4 and ranked #19 in the nation by some publications. The 6'9 forward / center averaged 12 ppg, 13 rpg, and 2 blocks per contest for Head Coach Peter's squad from Brooklyn.
