Church Earns All-American Honors
The Reiver Women concluded their season with a 14th finish at the 2026 National Championships. The highlight of the week was Olivia Holyoak-Church earning 2nd team All-American honors by finishing tied for 11th place. Church shot rounds of 77-79-77-77, to earn the honors.
For the first 3 rounds the Reivers couldn't find 4 solid scores. "We always had 2-3 solid scores for the first 3 rounds but could never get that 1 extra score we needed," said Head Coach Matt Robinson. The final round did see the women shoot their season average and posted 12-14 strokes better than the first 3 rounds. "We made a goal for the final round to try and catch Dodge City who was up on us by 17 strokes. We came up 2 strokes shy. But it was a good round for our team," said Robinson.
For the year, the Reivers had 2 First places finishes, 3 Runner-up Finishes, 2 3rd place finishes and 2 Top 10's. The team was Runner-up at the District Championship and placed 2 players on the All-District Team: Church and Nina Lesbros. The team will be losing 3 Sophomores: Church who has signed with NCAA DII Lincoln Memorial University, Jennifer Cho who signed with NCAA DII Alabama State and Skylar Benjamin who signed with NCAA DII University of Auburn at Montgomery.
