Crowther Named ICCAC Athlete of the Week after 4-0 Run

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - Iowa Western freshman Logan Crowther has been named the ICCAC Wrestler of the Week.

Competing at 149 pounds, Crowther put together a perfect 4–0 record, outscoring opponents 44–9 across the stretch while helping fuel the Reivers to a 3rd place finish in tournament action. 

The award marks Crowther's first ICCAC weekly honor of the season, joining teammates Noah Jones and Jadyn Cooper who were honored earlier in the season.

Other Reivers excelled in last weekend's tournament as well, with Noah Jones placing 2nd at 125lb, Isaac Ekdahl and Jaymeson Vander Velde splitting the 133lb title, Matteo Nikolov splitting the 174lb title and Cal Wells taking home 3rd at 184lb.

The Reivers are back in action on January 13th in Reiver Arena starting at 7:00PM. Additionally, all area youth wrestlers will be honored for Youth Wrestling Night!
