In Memoriam: Iowa Western 2025 National Champions

The Iowa Western football team is once again on top of the college football world, winning the 2025 NJCAA Division I National Championship. The Reivers rallied to humble Hutchinson, 28–10, on a night filled with both triumph and emotion. For head coach Scott Strohmeier and his family, the championship carried special meaning, as Iowa Western claimed the title in memory of Emily Strohmeier, who passed away this past May. The Reivers close another stellar season at 12–1, capturing their third national championship in the last four years and the program’s fourth in 17 seasons.
